Jesus Christ Superstar
Overview
Adam&Co. was commissioned by New York-based Serino Coyne to create the identity for the 2012 Broadway revival of Jesus Christ Superstar, the classic rock opera which originally debuted in 1971. With a show title as epic and iconic as Jesus Christ Superstar, the identity called for very little other than a type-only solution. We developed a bold, typographic treatment that references both the nature of the music as well as the content of the production. The identity is easily reconfigurable in order to accommodate the varying formats, sizes, and contexts it will need to work within. Tickets on sale now with shows beginning in March, 2012.
