Adam Larson, Founder/Creative Director Adam Larson is an award winning designer from Boston, MA. Over the last 10 years, he has worked full-time for Rykodisc, Razorfish, Toth Brand Imaging and Arnold Worldwide. During this time he also ran a freelance design and illustration business called Shrine Design. He left Arnold, where he was a Vice President, Creative Director, in December of 2007 to start his own design/illustration studio called Adam&Co. His experience in design spans many disciplines, having worked with such prestigious clients as Estee Lauder, truth, Nike, Virgin Mobile, Coca-Cola, Sony, Penguin, Dreamworks, John Deere, Southern Comfort, Jack Daniels, Chambord, MIT, Harvard, Tommy Hilfiger, Fleetwood Mac, and Paul McCartney, among others. His illustration work has appeared on the pages of Time Out New York, New York Magazine, Travel and Leisure, Mojo Magazine, Technology Review, The Globe and Mail, and most recently, Print. Both his illustration and design work have been showcased in numerous books and magazines that focus on contemporary art and design. His work has been recognized for excellence by various organizations including the Clio Awards, Cannes Lions, The Kelly Awards, D+AD, The Andy Awards, One Show, The Art Directors Club, Communication Arts, Print, How, The Addys, and American Illustration. He was recently nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for his work on the truth campaign. Larson's personal work has exhibited in Boston, New York and Los Angeles. He curates the Gallery at Grand in Boston, MA and is responsible for the overall design aesthetic of the Grand brand. Additionally, Larson is a contributing editor and art director for Lemon Magazine. He holds a BFA from Syracuse University. |
